Food was good service was good prices reasonable. We will go back.

This restaurant is a typical diner with breakfast and lunch. The staff are friendly and cheerful. They are constantly sanitizing and the place is very clean, including bathroom. I had a blt with potato salad. The sandwich was exactly what a good blt should be. Thick bacon and plenty of it. Thick, red, juicy tomatoes and leaf lettuce. Really tasty. Potato salad perfect. They offer outdoor and indoor seating, pick up and delivery. Credit cards accepted. Overall a great local diner with great service and great food.

The food today covered less of my plate. The waitress did not seem interested in the details of the order. E.G. we ordered bacon with our meals. She not say that bacon came with one of the meals. So we paid for extra bacon....

The Avalon Diner is the absolute best in every aspect. The servers are the best hands down. And super nice and personable. My order is always delivered quickly and always perfectly done. Bravo to the Avalon Diner chefs too! Family atmosphere. Delightful experience.

The food is just ok. The service is great. Very friendly people. Prices are fair. No milkshakes. It’s not your typical diner.

Great service. The salad was good. Tasted like home made sauces and dressings. Good veggies. Sadly the fish and chips were oily and less quality than what you can get in the grocery store frozen

My friend's Rick and Linda referred me to the Avalon Diner, and it was awesome! Had the steak and eggs. Steak was cooked perfectly by Darian, and perfectly seasoned for breakfast. Lindsey was very hospitable, and we look forward to coming back soon!

Absolutely our favorite place for breakfast and lunch! The staff is amazing! Keeping the place spotless even in these challenging times! Food is always spot on! The only place i have ever eaten that get over medium eggs right every single time!

Excellent staff!! Always make you feel welcomed and appreciated. Food has good taste although is a little bit on the expensive side. I go there at least once a week never had a bad experience.

We've always enjoyed breakfast at Avalon Diner, but I got to say we are really excited about their Dinner Specials. Last Friday I had the Pasta with Chicken and Shrimp in Vodka sauce and this Friday I had the Grilled Salmon with Polenta and Roasted vegetables in a brown sauce. I was pleasantly surprised both were very good. Can't wait for September 30th when Avalon Diner will be open for dinner Monday to Friday.

Nice atmosphere, clean, food was good, service was above excellent. Very attentive servers. Would recommend, and will be back when in area.

This is a family favorite for my grandparents. They come once a week and thoroughly enjoy the food and great staff. The staff are quick to take your order, get your food, and anything else you need. Their menu is medium sized with many things to eat. I only wish they had more bakery items such as cinnamon rolls and other great breakfast items.

Good morning I have great food at the Avalon diner and go very often, My name is Tom and i did notice that a guest had an issue with some hash browns one day and i believe it is the guest on the review below, actually ownership stated he used obscene language and moved out a guest well i did not hear or see that i really heard him state that they just did not seem to listen to his needs. Not sure if i agree with ownerships comments sense the customer was actually only asking for what he ordered. I also think the guest stated he has supported this establishment for sometime now. I would think that the Avalon Diner would welcome feedback positive or negative.

I can not believe that I haven’t been in this place before!!! Loved our server Jordan. He isn’t just pretending to give a care just to get a tip. Very cheerful and upbeat. He knew everyone else who walked in as we were eating, and had real conversations with them. Our food was hot and fresh, just like it should be. I only offer this advice for the cooks, keep your meatloaf in some beef broth to preserve moisture. That or add more fat to the mix, like butter to help it along. It was still really good, but leading into being dry. We can’t wait to try breakfast here!!!

I came in to Avalon diner today for a quick meal as usual because I know the service is fast. I wasn’t sure on what to order this time because I wanted to try something new and everything I’ve had in the past was great I ended up deciding on the Avalon cheesesteak which was recommended to me by one of the chefs that work there. He even suggested I try out a different cheese, one that better suited my preferences and the sauce to go with my sandwich I was so excited for my meal to come in when It got here I was not let down. The cheesecake was the best I’ve ever had and it is the truth. I couldn’t believe the look of this thing either it was just a perfect meal all around. I will definitely be returning to Avalon diner soon for another awesome meal! Thanks Anthony!

Cozy little place off the beaten path. Great for breakfast and lunch. Great food, homemade soups, friendly service. Worth the drive.

We always try to make at least one weekend visit to the Avalon Diner. My favorite is the Kielbasa breakfast special. Pies are available and always delicious. Give two days notice if you want a whole pie. Prices are very reasonable. The dining room isn't large so there may be a bit of a wait, but it usually isn't too long.

I had the Chicken and biscuits covered in sausage gravy with a side of smoked sausage. It was incredible. I cleaned the plate.... and Jordan is an awesome waiter full of energy and very friendly. He makes every visit special.

Avalon Diner is ALWAYS good. Super friendly people and really tasty food. Can't go wrong here for breakfast, for sure! Unfortunately I have not been there for lunch but hopefully someday! :-)

The turkey platter was excellent, but could have been enhanced with a dinner roll. The Patty melt was disappointing. Too much bread, not enough meat or cheese to cover the bread. So skip the burgers, or at least this one. Have been told their breakfast is worth going back for so we will. Service was excellent.

We all ordered the Avalon Cheesesteak and it was SO good! We have also had breakfast here multiple times and honestly you can’t go wrong with any of the options! We will definitely be coming back again!

Fresh food cooked well. I am sorry that I cant recommend the corned beef hash, but I'm very particular about corned beef hash. The experience, quality of preparation and friendliness of service were all I could have wished for.

I love this place. I have visited it for years. However, the menu has changed since it has fallen under new ownership. My favorite was always the tuna salad sandwich. It is no longer on the menu. But they will still make it for me. And although I appreciate the effort, it is no where near as good as it was before. Jordan is a great waiter.

Breakfast was very good, some of the best hash browns I have had in a while. Everyone enjoyed their meal and beyond that the waitstaff is extremely friendly and attentive. Great experience overall and I would recommend it.

Let’s see how it goes. Have to order everything al la carte. Not willing to make substitutions for 1 piece of French toast or 1 pancake. Then they were out of French toast. They didn’t tell us this upfront and of course that is what I was going to order. So I quickly has to decide what I wanted. So I ordered and then they didn’t have raisin toast. Can’t wait to get my bill, with everything priced out separately. Why wouldn’t you go to Publix across the street and buy more bread. Server tried to suggest French toast sticks with something crunchy on them made with the same bread. Didn’t make sense to me. How can you make the sticks with the same bread but not the French toast? Why did we come here. Ugh.

We drive nearly 40 minutes just to go to this restaurant a few times a month. Well worth it. Fresh turkey (not "deli turkey") on delicious wheat bread is my personal favorite. Fabulous menu. Fresh food, cooked properly. Really friendly staff - each and every person is lovely (Jordan - you are born to be a restauranteur!). Very reasonable prices for what you get. We would so love for them to open a place nearer to us, but in the meanwhile - we'll be there as often as we can. We just love this place!

My mother recommended this place to me while I was town. I ended up going twice! The food is great. Carol and Jordan are great people. I had something from the breakfast and lunch menu and both were delicious. Will definitely be back when I am in town!

We ordered through Door Dash. I got a tuna platter and the Cole slaw was rancid. I called to let them know so they don’t serve it to anyone else,but I was put on hold for 15 minutes.I called back at 8:15 and was told the manager “had no time to speak to me and would call me back”. I gave Lindsey my # and she said she “would give it to the manager when she had a chance”.Needless to say, the manager never called me back. Although the food is usually good, I feel customer service says a lot about a place-in this case, the customer service was awful. Very disappointing.

Gluten Free options available, and they have wonderful omelettes. One of our favorite places to grab our GF breakfasts! Thanks. Sam and Kathy

T'was a Friday around 1pm & quite busy...popular spot I surmise, at least for it's particular area. Their menu struck me as varied enough & AND they had a Monte Cristo sandwich, an off-the-wall treat which I "jones for" upon occasion & find are generally hard to locate. Their Monte Cristo was passable & their french fries good! I shall definitely visit this Avalon Diner again to sample other goodies. Note: Their employees exuded friendliness & were helpful. The quarters are abit tight, so be aware. I am pleased that this establishment is there & as "Arnold" famously stated, "I'll be baaack!"

I’ve lived down the road for quite a while but only got around to visiting today. Me and my boyfriend parked in the very convenient parking lot out front and were quickly welcomed upon entering the diner. Our waitress was very kind and knowledgeable of the menu and specials. She actually helped recommend what meat would go best with the triple decker club my boyfriend ordered. I got the Monte Cristo sandwich and it was heavenly with the perfect amount of sweet and savory. Both of our fries came out perfectly crunchy and golden. Once the orders started to die down, the chef Anthony, came out to check on us and made sure everything was cooked alright. We truly appreciated that not only was the waitress amazing but so was the man that cooked our meal. We will definitely be back soon.

I love this quaint little diner. It reminds me of my childhood back in the northeast where we had mom and pop diners to go to. Very small town feel in this place and food is great!

Menu and prices are great. Just needed to point out that the guy down below, TTB, uses the same grammatical errors as the guy he is trying to 'defend'. So I'm pretty sure it's the same guy. Don't know what he's trying to get at, but it's a small business, it wouldn't benefit the business to lie or to lose a customer over something small. Please don't mess with a good small business that offers fair prices on good food.

Nice family diner atmosphere. The food and service were both great. Typically we eat breakfast here over the weekends, however, now that they are open during the week nights, we stopped in for dinner and walked away satisfied.

Stopped in for a quick lunch with the family, and was pleasantly surprised. I got the turkey club which was awesome. But everyone else loved what they ordered as well. Jordan was top notch- very helpful and friendly.

Pretty standard fare. Same supplier and cooking as a Cracker Barrel although better coffee here. Service is great.

We love the Avalon diner. My parents go at least once a week for breakfast & I join them as often as i can. Originally we went only because the breakfast is so great & always get excellent service! But lately we have been going for lunch and dinner as well and we have not been disappointed yet. The buffalo chicken is great, steak, cheese steak & the soup too! Highly recommend.
